Suzuki racers bring out the crowds

CRESCENT Motor-cycles, Verwood, was the place to be for race fans last week when Loris Capirossi and Chris Vermeulen appeared at the home of Rizla Suzuki for the MotoGP Race Night.

Crowds - and I really do mean crowds - of fans made the trip from far and wide to see the two top Rizla riders and take a look at the bikes and merchandise.

Most pleasing was the number of families who came along - most amazing was how Loris and Chris, pictured, smiled as they greeted the hordes (patient in queues that stretched the length of the dealership, but hordes none the less), of autograph seekers.

The racers took great care to ensure everyone got their signatures on supplied posters, as well as items they had brought along (cheques weren't among them!) and posed with fans for photographs.

All credit to Chris and Loris who smiled only slightly less than the Rizla Paper Control' girls.
