OASIS will be visiting the South as part of their upcoming UK tour.
The Manchester band have just announced that they will be performing at the Bournemouth International Centre on October 20 and 21.
They last played in the South in front of 30,000 fans at the Rose Bowl in West in July 2005.
The tour is in support of their forthcoming record Dig Out Your Soul which will be released on October 6, the day before the tour kicks off in Liverpool.

Lov'em or hate'm, they are, like the Stereophonics, an act that draws world wide attention. And for the record, I really don't like them..BUT! As with the Stereophonics, they are playing in Bournemouth...Why? Not becasue of dem0ographics, but becasue they have a great venue suitable for all year round use, and which is flexible. Yes, Oasis played in Southampton, as did Bon Jovi, and so will REM, but at outside venues that are entirely weather dependent and unsuitable "out of season". Whate Southampton needs to put it on the map is a flexible multifunctional class venue suitable for conferences, exhibitions and "big" concerts" so it can compete, and yes, even occasionally beat, Brighton, Bournemouth, Birmingham and even London!

I won't call you a fool, I don't go much on name-calling. But you've used a word whilst failing wholly to understand what it means, and the choice of word in question is quite ironic
