THIS year, Dorset-based traditional jazz band, John Maddock's Jazzmen reached their 38th birthday, and they're bringing the celebration to Eastleigh's Concorde Club on Wednesday.
Prepare for an evening driven by John's stunning clarinet solos and their excellent full ensembles encompassing all spectrums of traditional jazz. In the past 38 years the band has toured the UK numerous times as well as performing in venues around Germany, Holland and Belgium. The seven-piece jazz band use an interesting troupe of instrumentalists ranging from guitar and piano, bass and drums to trombone and banjo. Tickets: £5 on the door. Members free.
