New Forest Show Highlights
The New Forest & Hampshire County Show at New Park, Brockenhurst
Tuesday 29th to Thursday 31st July
This amazing County Show is not to be missed, as it is the highlight of
Hampshire's social calendar featuring all the attractions that have made it so
popular for the best part of a century, bringing traditional country pursuits,
new exhibitions and demonstrations to this unique event.
This year's attractions include the return of Christian Moullec and his flying
Geese. The David Beckham Football Academy and the Shetland Pony Grand
National. This is the Year of Food and Farming so local produce will be
On show in the Hampshire and New Forest Food Experience, Food from
Field and Forest and the Commoners Drift marquees
You can also enjoy tasting in the Food Halls, inhaling the wonderful
scents of the Flower show, go back in time and revel in the age of steam or
watch and wonder at the terrier, ferret and sheep racing! Mix with a huge
range of animals and watch the livestock competitions and equestrian
displays including top riders in the international showjumping. There is
definitely something for everyone.
Other events include a major Art Exhibition and the Fine Crafted Wood
national competition to find the best trainee furniture maker in the UK.
Over 600 stands will provide the opportunity to browse or buy many items that you will never see in the shops. There will be all day entertainment for children, this year not only the stage performances but also a flight simulator, tennis fun challenges and a climbing wall. With woodland walks, a countryside arena, local beer tents, crafts, and animals galore: you can eat, drink and shop til you drop or just pass away a day at a great traditional English summer event.
