Home swaps are a good way to save money on holidays
FANCY living like a local at your next holiday destination with a fully equipped kitchen, all your living room mod cons and enough bedrooms for all the family?
Well you can turn that dream into a reality without paying any accommodation costs by swapping your home with another holidaymaker.
Depending on the size of the property you stay in you can save hundreds and possibly thousands of pounds by choosing to holiday this way.
If you have pets your fellow house swapper can also feed them while you are away.
Most home swaps these days are organised via websites where people can post all their details and information about their house, as well as information about when you would like to travel.
For more information about swapping homes and saving hundreds visit homebase-hols.com, homeexchange.com, homelink.org.uk or intervac.com.
There is usually a membership fee ranging from £25 to £100 but this is more than outweighed by the savings of a house swap.
