Special vehicle is so important to Chris
 |
| Chris McBeth |
CHRIS McBeth, 17, came to Rose Road following a road accident in 2003 which left him severely disabled.
He attends Rosewood School, uses Oaks and Acorns respite and also the Rose Road outreach services and is one of the young people who will benefit from the new specially adapted people carrier.
His mum, Claire McBeth, said: "I would like to say how important it is for Chris to have access to a specialised vehicle, as basically without one Chris would not be able to go out to any activities most of us take as read.
"Without the people carrier, Chris would have to rely on me to take him everywhere, which is not cool' for a teenage lad!
"This way Chris has some independence and the chance to go out with his friends at Rose Road, which he loves. It also gives me some time to relax."
