Mission accomplished for battling Louise

The love and support of her friends ensured that one Hampshire mum's mission impossible became a mission accomplished.

Despite battling breast cancer for the second time, Louise Rall was triumphant as she crossed the finishing line of her ten-mile sponsored walk.

The 34-year-old, who was first diagnosed four years ago when she was eight months pregnant, took on the challenge of the Ribbon Walk in the hope of raising £2,000 for Breast Cancer Care, with seven friends under the team name Lou's Loonies.

But thanks to her determination, fighting spirit and loving friends and family, including her three-year-old son, Ben, Louise and her "loonies" smashed their target and collected more than £5,000. They are pictured left.

Louise, from Chandler's Ford, said: "I managed to walk with ease and was not too stiff afterwards. I was swept along by the atmosphere and emotion of the event.

"My friends were truly loving and supportive and I would like to thank them with all my heart."
