The music included classical,
brass, soul, jazz and samba.
While the music played the picnic
hampers and the odd bottle of
wine came out to help soak up the
atmosphere. A spokesman said:
"It was a fantastic evening."
There was also a special stall
where former pupils could pick
up their final report cards. The
evening was topped off with a
spectacular firework display.
Proceeds will go to the
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Air
Ambulance.

I attended the concert with my family. We had a great time. Everyone involved with the concert should be congratulated. It was a great way to celebrate the 50th Anniversary but also a great send off for Miss Campbell. Wyvern is an important part of the community and it was a great way to bring everyone together in celebration. I am sure there will be a huge demand for it to become a regular event!

As an original member of the move to Fair Oak (the then Year 10), Wyvern gave me a tremendous start in life and guided me towards a very successful career in teaching after originally wanting to be a fireman or carpenter. Thirty-five years on and in my final years as a teacher, thank you Wyvern, congratulations on your birthday.... where was my invite?
